LKG for Hospital began life as the medical and pharmacy module inside LKG for Billing, our billing and inventory product for small businesses. After two years of clinics, polyclinics, and small hospitals running their entire OP day on it, the medical surface had grown into its own product — with its own grammar, its own users, and its own deployment story.
Rather than keep stretching a billing app into hospital territory, we lifted the medical engine out and gave it a home of its own. Same code. Same audit trail. New name.
What we believe
- One record per patient. If the chart, the pharmacy bill, and the lab result do not live on the same row, the system has already failed.
- Boring beats clever. Hospitals run on repetition. A delightful animation costs three seconds; a missing field costs an hour.
- Audit trails are not optional. Every edit, every transfer, every refund is timestamped against the user who did it.
- Self-host or cloud — your choice. Some hospitals must keep the data on their own server. We respect that.
Who we are
LKG for IT Pvt. Ltd. is an Indian software company with a small team that has spent more years than we'd like to admit on billing, accounting, hospital, and clinical systems for small and mid-size businesses. We ship slowly and on purpose.
We use the product ourselves. The bug you find is the bug our own customers find. The fix you ask for has probably already been asked by someone in Madurai.
