Overview
LKG for Hospital is delivered in two modes:
- Managed cloud — we host, secure, back up, and update the product; you log in from any browser.
- Self-hosted — we ship a Docker-based deployment that runs on your own server. You control the data; we provide a release channel and support.
Both modes ship the same product. There is no feature difference.
What you need
- Modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) on every counter PC.
- A reliable internet connection for the cloud mode, or a Linux server (4 vCPU / 8 GB RAM minimum) for the self-hosted mode.
- A printer for prescriptions, bills, and lab reports — any standard receipt or A4 printer works.
- For voice transcription: a USB microphone or headset on the consulting-room PC.
Onboarding timeline
| Phase | Typical duration |
|---|---|
| Kickoff & data import | 3–5 days |
| Staff training | 2–3 days |
| Soft launch (parallel run) | 1 week |
| Full cut-over | 1 day |
The fastest small clinic we've onboarded was live in 48 hours. The largest multi-branch hospital took six weeks. Most hospitals fall in the two-week range.
What we do not do
We are deliberate about scope. LKG for Hospital does not currently include:
- A full electronic medical record with imaging-grade DICOM viewer (we link to your PACS instead).
- A standalone telemedicine video product (we integrate with your existing video tool).
- A patient mobile app (the patient portal is browser-based).
If you need any of the above, let us know — we maintain a partner list for each.
